The Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort (also known as Mini DisplayPort to Full DisplayPort) cable is designed for the National Instruments cRIO-903x CompactRIO Controllers. These controllers come with a mini display port that can be located at the front side of the controller. If your display device doesn’t have a mini display port, then an intermediate conversion cable would be required for the transmission of the display signal between the controller and the display device.
The Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort offers direct connectivity between a full display port and the mini display port of the controller. Users who don’t want to use the mini display port of their cRIO controller can also consider using a display device through the serial interface. The Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort is also referred to as Mini DP to DP Adapter. This Display Cable is available in 0.5-meters with 20-Pin, Male DisplayPort to 20-Pin, Male Mini DisplayPort connections (Part Number: 157232-0R5) and 2-meters with 37-Pin, Male DisplayPort to 20-Pin, Male Mini DisplayPort (Part Number: 157232-02).
